Active placement cell with focus on overseas placements

Zulekha Group of Colleges, believe in combining Ability, Attitude, Knowledge the three facets that together spell success. Today’s dynamic corporate scenarios seek recruit who have these skills in balanced measure. Prime responsibility of the cell is to be in regular touch with prospective employers, arrange campus interviews and bridge the gap between student skills and industry requirements and expectations.

Placement Cell leverages the strong base of the Zulekha Healthcare Group in Gulf to actively place the students outside on India. In addition to the placements in India, the cell has been successful in placing 3 students from the 2011-2012 final year batch in Dubai. The employers of these students are very satisfied with their performance and are looking forward to absorb more students graduating from the college. 

Summer Internship

A strong focus of the management and the staff is to ensure that the students passing out of the college are ‘Industry – Ready’. All efforts are made in-house to groom the students with the skills industry needs, these efforts are supplemented by ensuring that second and final year students get hands-on, real life industry experience by providing them Summer Internships in leading industries / organizations in and around Nagpur.

Lot of efforts are put in to understand the skills and interest of each student, which in turn are deliberated and mapped to the organization departments providing the internship. The students attending the internship are given experience certificate by the company making their way easy for getting their first break.

Zulekha College of Commerce, Science and Technology

With normalization of the academic atmosphere after a long spell of Covid-19 pandemic, Zulekha College of Commerce, Science and Technology have started witnessing an encouraging placement scenario for their students.

The Placement Committee of college in association with ICICI Academy of Skill Nagpur has started the Campus to Corporate Careers (C2C) Program from the academic year 2022-2023. The program aims to provide transformative workforce skills training for youth to make better career choices and build a strong career path. It is a 72-days offline Training program including Selling skills, office administration, Electrical and home appliances repair course. Around 20 students from BCCA, B.Com and BBA were part of the training program and participated in the placement drive. All the 20 students were placed in renowned companies like Bajaj Finserve Limited, Cogent E Services Pvt. Ltd, SR Enterprises, etc.

The association with ICICI Academy of Skill will continues, the students' response towards training and the placements offered has been positive.
