Zulekha Group of Colleges A Report of NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON "Role of Technology in Innovative Teaching" 15th & 16th March, 2019

Zulekha Group of Colleges organized its first ever national conference titled Role of Technology in Innovative Teaching on 15th and 16th March 2019. The conference was well attended by eminent academicians, faculty members and students from reputed technical and educational institutions from different parts of the country and representatives of governmental bodies and industry

college-logo1.jpgIn technical sessions held over two days, 59 papers from the Zulekha College of Commerce, Science and Technology and 80 papers from the Zulekha College of Education were presented at the conference.

The conference was inaugurated by the Chief Guest at the inaugural function, Dr. Namdeo V. Kalyankar (Vice-Chancellor, Gondwana University) on 15thMarch. In his inaugural address, he lauded the Management and the academic administration of the institute for hosting a national conference.

Dr. K. C. Deshmukh the Guest of Honor released the Conference Souvenir on the occasion and shared his views on Role of Technology in Innovative Teaching briefly. Mr. Habib Arif delivered the presidential address. Principal of Zulekha College of Commerce, Science and Technology and Convener of Conference, Dr. Nandkishor Zade and Principal of Zulekha college of Education Dr. Kalpana Kapse gave an overview of the conference.
The inauguration was soon followed by the key note address of Dr. Sandhya Nair (Principal of R.S. Mundale College) and Dr. K.M. Bhandarkar (National President Council for Teacher Education). Then the technical session titled Role of Technology in Innovative Teaching started and papers were presented during the session.

During the valedictory program conducted in the evening of 16th March, the Management of the group of colleges extends their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all teaching and non teaching staff of both the colleges, for their invaluable contributions in making this event a great success.
After the valedictory program, the conference came to an end, leaving fond memories in the minds of the guests and delegates and a great sense of satisfaction and accomplishment in all members of the faculty and staff and student volunteers who were associated with its preparation and organization.
